Aldo van den Nieuwelaar TC6 lamp Netherlands 1972. The lamp consists of a square white lacquered steel box that houses the starter ballast connected to a circular fluorescent TL-tube. Simon Eikelenboom created a version with a two-step dimmer, which is the version described here; it still bears the original manufacturer's sticker on the inside.

This lamp can be used as either a table or wall lamp, thanks to an interlocking hole at the bottom of the block. It comes with its original round fluorescent tube and is in excellent condition. This lamp is part of the collections of several museums, including MoMA, Vitra Design Museum, Stedelijk Museum, and Kunstmuseum Boijmans Van Beuningen, among others.
