Designed by Giudici brothers Battista, Gino, & Fratteli for B.G. Giudici. These stackable and adjustable deck chairs were produced for the Lido of Locarno Swimming Club, Locarno, Switzerland, circa 1946. Offered is an early version of the famous Lido "sun chair", created by Swiss designers and brothers Battista and Gino Giudici circa 1935 and manufactured circa 1946 by Fratelli Giudici, Locarno for Wohnbedarf AG. The chair frames are made out of tubular steel poles which are galvanized on the inside and on the outside so to be waterproof.
