This sculptural table by architect Angelo Mangiarotti is executed in solid white Carrara marble. The table top rests on one cone-shaped leg in the middle. The top 'locks' itself onto the marble cone and keeps in place because of the weight of the material. As a consequence, the entire structure is stable and strong.
